| Abstract: | Eosinophilic keratitis is a relatively uncommon ocular pathology in cats. The causes of this disease have not been fully studied yet. Previous reports associate the occurrence of eosinophilic keratitis with feline viral rhinotracheitis (FHV1), feline chlamydiosis (Chlamydophila felis), autoimmune diseases and allergy. Objective The purpose of the study is to demonstrate the efficacy of 0.5% hydrocortisone eye ointment, Doxicycline, Feliferon medication and keratectomy as treatment of eosinophilic keratitis in cats, depending on the nature and depth of corneal damage. |
