| Abstract: | Перші кроки щодо дослідження мікроорганізмів були зроблені людством три століття тому назад. Але пройшло ще багато часу перед тим, як мікробіологія, стала окремою наукою. На цьому шляху значні відкриття та здобутки були зроблені українськими вченими, у тому числі вченими Одеського державного аграрного університету, що працювала більше ста років у його стінах. Серед видатних українських вчених, що заклали основи української мікробіології необхідно пригадати І. Мечнікова, Л. Ценковського, М. Гамалія, Д. Заболотного, О. Павловського. Наукові дослідники Одеського державного аграрного університету, які розвивали мікробіологічну науку – Д. Івановський, П. Громаковський, В. Тульчинська, С. Мінервін, А. Демченко, Є. Буряк. Вказані вчені не тільки відомі своїми науковими працями, але й педагогічною та організаційною діяльністю. Було створено мікробіологічну лабораторію, розроблені навчальні курси з дисципліни «Загальна мікробіологія», «Ветеринарна мікробіологія», написаний ряд підручників. Серед наукових інтересів кафедри в різні роки переважали роботи з вивчення бруцельозу, стахіоботріотоксикозу коней, розробка гіперімунних сироваток, розробка методів діагностики туберкульозу, які базувалися на серологічних та алергічних пробах. |
| Description: | The first steps towards the study of microorganisms were made by mankind three centuries ago. But a lot of time passed before microbiology became a separate science. On this path, significant discoveries and achievements were made by Ukrainian scientists, including scientists of the Odessa State Agrarian University, which worked for more than a hundred years within its walls. Among the prominent Ukrainian scientists who laid the foundations of Ukrainian microbiology, I. Mechnikov, L. Tsenkovskyi, M. Gamalii, D. Zabolotnyi, and O. Pavlovskyi should be remembered. Scientific researchers of Odesa State Agrarian University who developed microbiological science - D. Ivanovskyi, P. Gromakovskyi, V. Tulchynska, S. Minervin, A. Demchenko, E. Buryak. These scientists are known not only for their scientific works, but also for their pedagogical and organizational activities. A microbiological laboratory was created, training courses in the disciplines "General Microbiology", "Veterinary Microbiology" were developed, and a number of textbooks were written. Among the scientific interests of the department in different years, works on the study of brucellosis, stachyobotryotoxicosis of horses, the development of hyperimmune serums, and the development of methods for diagnosing tuberculosis, which were based on serological and allergic tests, prevailed. |
