| Abstract: | Чисельність популяції племінних свиней ЧБПП в умовах Одеської області має тенденцію до скорочення. Відтворювальні якості свиноматок даної породи є типовими як для батьківського генотипу свиней. Багатоплідність свиноматок у середньому не перевищує 10 голів. Виявлено високий генетичний потенціал популяції свиней ЧБПП за показником віку досягнення живої маси 100 кг (172,88–179,56 дні) та середньодобовим приростом (0,781–0,844 кг). The population of the Red Belt Line (red with white belt over shoulders) meat-type breeding pigs in Odessa region tends to decrease. Reproductive traits of the sows of this breed are typical for male parent. The average sow prolificacy does not exceed 10 piglets per sow. High genetic potential of the population of the Red Belt Line pigs has been revealed upon reaching the live weight of 100 kg (over 172.88-179.56 days) and average daily gains 0.781-0.844 kg/d. The prospects for further research involve the performance of scientific research concerned with reducing such selection traits as feed cost and backfat thickness using the «blood refreshment» method for the Red Belt Line pigs with the aid of Duroc and Pietrain pigs of French origin. |
