Abstract

У єнотоподібної собаки є певні особливості в будові кісток черепа: тім’яні і потилична кістки мають високий гребінь, носові кістки короткі, носові відростки різцевої кістки досягають лобових кісток, кут нижньої щелепи виражений слабо. Морфологія зубного апарату єнотоподібної собаки свідчить про всеїдність і слабо виражене хижацтво. В шийному відділі хребта сім хребців, в грудному 14, в поперековому шість, в крижовому три і в хвостовому 16-18 хребців. Ребра у єнотоподібної собаки вузькі і плоскі, в кількості 13 пар. Грудина без особливостей. Лопатка має більш округлий дорсальний край і добре виражений акроміон. У цієї тварини таз значно сплющений з боків, крило клубової кістки округлої форми, сіднична поверхня згладжена, маклок не виражений.
